Atlas Copco to accumulate Wangen Pumpen

Atlas Copco has agreed to accumulate the German industrial pump manufacturer Pumpenfabrik Wangen GmbH from personal equity firm Silverfleet Capital.

เกจวัดแรงดันภาษาอังกฤษ in Wangen within the Allgäu area of Germany, Pumpenfabrik Wangen specialises in progressive cavity pumps used mainly within the biogas and wastewater sectors, and twin-screw pumps for meals and beverage and cosmetics applications.
Pumpenfabrik Wangen has manufacturing amenities in Germany, a US subsidiary and a global sales and repair footprint. The company employs 265 individuals and had 2020 revenues of roughly €46.4 million.
“Industrial pumps is a section that we’ve recognized as a strategic match for Atlas Copco and Wangen Pumpen has leading differentiated know-how with a strong aftermarket business,” said Andrew Walker, president of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique business space. “Wangen Pumpen is a strong model and is understood for quality in demanding industrial purposes. This acquisition will create a solid foundation for additional growth in new industrial pump segments.”
The acquired business will become a part of the Power and Flow division within Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area.
The deal is anticipated to be accomplished through the second quarter of 2022 and is subject to regulatory approvals.
